Gulai Ikan Kakap-Red Snapper in Spicy coconut milk Soup

Using the recipe from here http://dapur-cantik.blogspot.com/2007/11/gulai-ikan-kakap.html but I only used things I could find in Florida. Asam kandis i just replaced using asam jawa (tamarind paste) well i don't know if it might make different but i find myself just fine. My hubby loves this dish! that's the important thing LOL.

What do you need to prepare :

1 whole red snapper, clean the scale, wash and cut into smaller pieces and marinate it in lemon juice.
1 onion, 1 shallot, 4 cloves of garlic, 4-5 red chilies pepper, 2 slices of ginger, 1 tbsp of turmeric, 1 tsp of cumin, 1tsp of coriander, 1 tsp of nutmeg. Blend them all using food processor till they are turned into paste.
Prepare the skillet. Pour the vegetable oil to saute the paste. Once it's simmer, pour the water *1 cup of water or 1 1/2, wait till it's boiled. Put the fish. 1Lemongrass, 2 bay leaves. Pinch of tamarind paste. Half cup of coconut milk. Sliced Beans. Cook till they are tender. Add slices of cherry tomatoes. Pinch of salt, little sugar. Serve with Jasmine rice.
