Rainbow Noodles, Red Edition in Mie Ayam Bakso

Happy I have one kitchenaid attachment now!Thanks hon! More to come lol.

Here is the result of my pasta press. It's one of fav kitchenaid attachment. 
But I used Pasta press for making healthy noodle here. 


Browsing the recipe is not that simple. Esp to match with this machine. I really need dough that's firm enough. Once I tried the sticky result dough, oh boy so hard to split it when it's ready to come out from the machine.

I found dapur kecil ibu blog and tried her recipe. Still not satisfied yet but not that bad. Eventho when it's cooked I broke noodles into several pieces. >_<

I was not that patient making the beets puree. I boiled the beets but then I steamed it. I should have waited longer to make it softer. Lesson learned. Second batch I did really make good pure of beets.
It's fun making pasta/noodle with kitchenaid attachment. Just need patient and practice.
Not sticky but fragile
I still wanna browse more recipes with another flavor. Next maybe spinach.

Now talking about Mie Ayam Bakso. A famous Indonesian food that people won't get bored with it.


Very easy to make. I didn't use measurement sorry. I get used to in the kitchen.

Just prepare  ;
-Boneless breast chicken. Boiled,shredded.  Use the broth for later.
-Mushroom in a can.
-Meatballs (homemade or ready to use)
-Some steamed veggies such as baby bok choy,  ( I used beets leaves by the way here ).
- 1 cup water/stock from the boiling chicken.

Seasoning in garlic, soy sauce, mandarin sauce, oyster sauce, salt, pepper, sweet soy sauce.

Additional sauce for serving it ;
-chopped/sliced garlic, sauted 5min in olive oil and added soy sauce. 
-sriracha/hot chili for more hot just chopped green chili pepper.

Spinach pasta with shrimps


So happy I could make my own pasta in my kitchen! Healthier and yummier! ^^
Got simple recipe from my sis!
Just saute with garlic in olive oil,bring to taste with salt and black pepper. Just as simple as that! Additional I used shrimps. That's excellent choice for pasta.
I'm in love with Veggies Pasta! I will make another later perhaps with carrots! Hmm

Home made spinach noodle



Ready to make another experiment! This time is noodle. 
I know it will take times making it but I like learning in my kitchen and I have baby spinach in the fridge. 
Oh God glad I checked it today! It's almost bad. I know I'm not into veggies even worst when I have braces on now.
I rarely cook it unless in smoothie coz I don't like salad and hubby doesn't like spinach Indonesian soup aka sayur bening bayam lol.

By the way I don't know pasta or noodle you can say this. 
I got the recipe Mie Bayam in bahasa and this person modified from this spinach noodle 

Okay, Here is what I did today! capturing with iphone during the process. 
I used most of spinach that's been in the fridge quite long. I chose the ones that were still good of course. But I didn't measure it. It's just almost full in food processor. Like in the pic below.


I poured the mixture of flour, tapioca and salt in the food processor and then continued it by hand.
somehow it's sticky ^^ I added more flour and then let it rest in the fridge before it's back to sticky lol Oh boy I hope I did the right thing. Since the recipe doesn't mention fridge.


You have to play flour a lot in the shaping noodle since it's sticky. My small table was messy! Oh boy, it's fun tho when you finally could see what you were making.^^

To be honest,I was lil bit frustrated when I couldn't shape using pasta maker. Somehow it didn't wanna shape like it's supposed to be. So I did manually, using knife!.
The way I did was that thin dough is Rolled that's been poured with flour so that it wont stick to each other but then it was hard to separate it. Bad.

I was making the dough again flat and thin just like in the beginning. The dough was firm enough since more flour had been poured during the testing I guess. So when I put it in the pasta maker it turned out well. Woohoo!I did the second test well till last dough.
Then boiled the pasta until it's floating. Make sure enough water you put in a big pot.
After boiling it then rinse it in cold water.I did it to avoid stick to one another. Just using tap water tho. After that I arrange it in a pyrex so it won't crumbled that much. You can cook it right away, or store it in the fridge.

I like the green color of spinach here!.
Can't wait cooking it, hmm spicy fried noodle? yummy!

Kwetiau Goreng

Love this kind of noodle. Its not too big but not too small. Its quite soft after you soaked for few min in a boiling water.  I guess this is kind of Pho Noodle if you eat at Vietnamese Restaurant. It's very easy to make it.

Ingredients and how to cook
1 pack of noodle, soaked in boiling water
Baby bokchoy, cleaned
2 carrots, cleaned, sliced
2 eggs, whisked
3 chopped fresh red chilies
half pack of tofu, diced
sri racha, extra hot sauce *optional if you wanna make it hot*
sweet soy sauce
 3 cloves of garlic, 1tbsp of pepper, 1tsp of salt, Ground them into paste
Prepare skillet with 3tbsp of olive oil. Saute the paste for about 1-2min. Add chillies, carrots, till tender, add tofu, bokchoy and noodle. Add sweet soy sauce, bring to taste, add hot sauce and more salt if you think it's not enough

Soun goreng

Ingredients : Bean thread noodle, Meatballs, Tofu, Carrots, Broccoli, Zuchini. Seasoning : Garlic, salt, pepper. Make into paste. Sweet soy bean sauce. Chicken bouloin powder.
Soak noodle in warm water for about10min till it become soft. Drained n put aside.
Saute the seasoning 2-4min. Add veggies till become tender. Last but not least add the noodle in low heat. Pour sweet soy bean sauce. Mix them all. Bring to taste. Serve with hot sauce. Yummy!

Rice Sticks Noodle -Sauce Mix (Pancit Bijon)


Rice Sticks Sauce mix Pancit Bijon is a package comes with Rice noodle i bought. I didn't plan to use the instant package at first but i got curious.

I Sauted the garlic and onion first for about 5min, added some veggies *carrots, lentils, broccoli* and chicken sausages then i read the instruction on the instant package *meanwhile I soaked the rice noodle with warm water and left it for about 5min and drained*.
Finally I decided to use it!
the instruction is 4cups of water but i just wanna try it first so i only used 2cups of water mixed with half package of this sauce mix and tasted it..Hmm not bad. so finally i used all the instant package and added more water. Yummy

Mie Ayam Bakso Jamur

My heavy snack! Mie Ayam Bakso Jamur! Noodle with chicken, meatballs and mushroom! It's my hubby's fav also! Yummy.

Ingredients
Boneless breast chicken 1 pack chopped
1 onion *I use sweet one* chopped
2 cloves of garlic
1 tsp of pepper
1 tsp of salt
2 cans of button mushroom

Oil sauce
2 tbsp of Olive oil
3 cloves of garlic
2 tbsp of water
1 tbsp of soy sauce

Seasoning
1-2 tbsp of Oyster sauce
1-2 tbsp of Sweet soy sauce

Garnish
Bok Choy, chopped boil just few minutes
Green Onion, chopped
Canton Noodle *choose thin one* Boil till tender. Put aside in a bowl
Ready meatballs, boiled

How to make
Prepare the skillet with 1 tbsp of olive oil. Saute the onion, garlic, pepper n salt. Add the chopped chicken till they are cooked. Add mushroom. Add seasoning. Mix them well. It will be sweet. Put aside
Prepare another skillet for the oil sauce. Add olive oil. saute the garlic, add soy sauce, water. Bring to boil. Put aside.

How to serve
Prepare a bowl. Add the boiled canton noodle. Add the bok choy, green onion, chicken and meatballs. Add sri racha sauce if you like it spicy. Mix them and bon appetite!

Fried Noodle

Light Meals

The simplest and easiest food ever :-) You can combine with seafood or beef. This time i used beef, tofu, eggs. For the veggies i added Bok Choy and Carrots. Prepare the skillets, add 1-2 tbsp of vegetable oil or olive oil. Saute Mashed garlic with salt and pepper for about 5min. Add Sliced carrots, cook till they are tender. Add chopped beef or thin small sliced beef. Cook till they are brown. Add diced firm tofu. Meanwhile, prepare the rice noodle. Soak in cold water for about 10 or till they are soft. Drain them. Once they are ready. Pour it to the pan and stir with the rest of the veggies. Add 2-3 tbsp of sweet soy bean sauce. Mix it well. Add 2tsp chicken Bouillon powder. Whisk the egg. Pour it and mix again. Taste it and add more chicken bouillon powder if you think its not enough for you. You can add sliced of chilli pepper if you wanna have it more spicy! 
Serve it hot!

Special Cantoon Noodle


Noodle is always in my heart LOL. Yup so far I don't know how many kinds of noodle I've tried and all yummy! Today I cooked Cantoon noodle.Cantoon noodle is made from wheat. You can buy it at Asian Market.

Preparation :
Half Pack of cantoon noodle, boiled n drained
5-10 ready meatballs
Long beans or other veggies you like, wash and cut them for about 1inch
5 mushrooms, wash, slice

Seasoning :
1 knorr chicken *optional
1 shallot
2 cloves of garlic
5 chili peppers, slice
2 tbsp of olive oil
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of pepper

How to cook :
Prepare the skillet, saute the shallot and garlic in olive oil till they are tender. Add chili peppers. Add the Knorr. Bring them all simmer. Put the veggies till they are tender. Add the meatballs and noodle. Mix them all. Cook for 2minutes.

Spaghetti


My Home Made Spaghetti! Yummy! Very Simple n Cheap. Just prepare the spaghetti noodle, Ground beef, Ragu sauce, tomato sauce, onion, garlic, seasoning : 1 tsp of oregano, basil, nutmeg, pepper and salt! Voilaaaaaa.. You can eat as much as you can LOL

Preparation :
For the sauce
1 Onion, peel, slice and saute in 1 tbsp of olive oil with 1 clove of garlic
Add 1 tsp of salt. Keep stirring till they are smooth.
Add 0.5 lb of ground beef. Cook till they are brown.
Add the tomato sauce, ragu. Stir them all. Add the seasoning.
Keep stirring till they are boiled.

For the noodle just follow the instruction from the box :-) Serve with Cheese. Bon appetite!
