Sambal Goreng Tempeh



Love Tempeh! My home made Tempeh is finally cooked. I chose my mom's recipe. 
I remembered she liked cooking it n yummy!

but i added coconut milk. That blog is in Bahasa. Let me try to put it in my broken english :-D

Ingredients 
1 pack of Tempeh, cut into dice 
3 Big chili peppers, sliced
5 big shrimps, cleaned *optional, if you don't want, you can add tofu, so its pure vegetarian*

Seasoning

2 shallots
1 clove of garlic
1tsp of ginger powder
1tsp of pepper
1tsp of salt
Make it into pure and saute in 2 tbsp of olive oil

3 tsp of lemongrass or 1lemongrass stalk

2-3 tbsp of sweet soy sauce *it depends how much sweet you wanna have*
1 cup of water, 3tbsp of coconut powder. Mix them all together. *If you don't wanna use coconut powder is ok*



How to cook 

Prepare the pan with 1 tbsp of olive oil or vegetable oil. In medium heat, saute the pure for about 5min. Add the shrimps till they are pink. Add tempeh, chili. Pour water mixed with coconut milk. Add sweet soy sauce, lemongrass. Bring to boil. Served with white rice.
