I love Chiffon! And this flavor would be my fav and hope it helps me gaining weight. ^^
This is the first time I made cheese chiffon. I thought chiffon can only be made without heavy additional ingredients since it should be sponge light cake. But I made this one!Cheese!^^ I guess next time banana chiffon cake would be my next project.
Ingredients
135 gr all purpose flour, shifted
70gr fine grated cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
100gr granulated sugar
100ml milk ( I used soy milk )
100ml canola oil
6 egg yolks
6 white eggs
1/2 cream tartar
Methods
- Prepare chiffon mold cake, warm it up for about 10 min in low heat oven.
- In another bowl : flour, cheese, baking soda, baking powder, salt, 2 tbsp of
sugar from 100ml and leave it the rest to mix with white egs later* and
add 6 egg yolks, canola oil, milk. It's going to be like thick batter. Put aside.
- In a mixing bowl, mix 6 white eggs with cream of tartar, till it has foam and then add sugar. Mix in high speed. Till it shapes soft peak.
- When the white eggs ready, Pour one at a time till it blend well to the batter.
- Sprinkle hot water in a cake mold before you pour the batter in it.
- Bake 50 min and once it's done,take it out from the oven and put it up side down till it's cooling down. chiffon cake mold has 3 legs and that's the function, to hold it stand.
I Love sponge texture. Soft and the taste is not that sweet.
I added fine grated cheddar on top. Just to show that this is cheese chiffon. ^^

Mini Apple Pie
To tell you the truth this is my first trial making and eating apple pie here! >_<
I'm not into sweet and hubby always tells me that American loves sweet so that I never wanna buy or try. Yea picky eater!
I still have one big apple in the fridge and one more green apple that hubby perhaps forgot lol, it's behind the jars and stuff in the fridge, yea yea I need to clean stuff that's been sitting for a while.
I watched Martha bakes on tv the other day, and looks so easy making apple pie.
But I don't wanna make big apple pie. So I browsed mini apple pie and voila.
LOVE IT!
Gosh it took forever taking these mini apple pies!
I just couldn't get good angles with my limited props!^^
But I made DIY socks sandmen! sand coz the socks color is ivory ^^

Here is the recipe
Ingredients
For the crust
1 cup of all purpose flour
6 tbsp of cold butter, diced it
1 tsp of salt
1 tbsp of sugar
2 tbsp of ice cold water
For the filling
2 big apple, peeled and diced
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp flour
Methods
For the crust
In a bowl pour flour and diced butter
Use fork to make the butter crumbled in the flour
add sugar and salt
Knead it till all butter blend
wrap in a plastic food wrapper
store in the fridge for about 30min
For the filling
In a bowl, pour all ingredients
Once the crust is ready, flattened it with rolling pin as thin as possible
take a small bowl and flip it to make the round shape cutter.
Prepare the muffin pans that's been greased.
put the round crust in the muffin pans and use fork to make holes in the bottom
Fill it with the filling
cover it with the crust
Baked in 375F for about 35-45min

Low fat Banana Bread
Banana bread is my hubby's fav! Got 2 large blackened bananas on the kitchen counter this morning.
He looked at them and teased me "why don't you invite your friend over for smoothie."
"Well not this cold weather I guess! It's only you who can stand having ice cream and smoothie in this cold season" I said. >_<
I'm gonna make banana bread instead."
You know who's gonna be happy. *_*
I remembered I still have non fat yoghurt in the fridge, so I browsed the recipe for using it. Joyofbaking is good site for making simple yummy recipe.
Too bad my non fat yoghurt was bad already so I used Probiotic diary drink instead, strawberry flavor (93ml) LoL
It turned out well tho!
The bottom part is not wet just like I want!Woohoo.
I should name it "Probiotic dairy whole wheat banana bread" lol

Apple cake cinnamon
First time I made cake without baking powder, baking soda! It's yummy and soft tho.
Ingredients
1 Big apple
100 ml canola oil
120 gr all purpose flour
90 gr sugar
4 eggs
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1/2 cup raisins *optional*
Methods
Preheat the oven 350F
Peeled apple and blend into puree with canola oil, * I used magic bullet* put aside.
In a bowl, mixed eggs and sugar with high speed mixer for 5-10min.
Lower the speed to the lowest number and pour the flour and cinnamon powder, add the apple puree. Folded the batter evenly.
Pour it in a pan that has been greased with canola oil or margarine.
Add some raisins or walnut or almond flakes if you have.
Baked for about 40 min.

Baked spaghetti
Hubby requested spaghetti this time. Well It's been a while tho. I like spaghetti too.
Easy to make from scratch either so here I am playing with pasta.
Ingredients
1 pack of spaghetti pasta
2 cans of tomato sauce
2 cans of tomato paste
2 packs of ground beef
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 onion, minced
1tbsp oregano
1tbsp pepper
1tbsp salt
1tbps sugar
1tbsp parsley
Cheddar cheese and white cheese, grated
Method
Saute garlic and onion for about 3min and pour tomato paste and sauce. Bring it to simmer and add pepper, parslet, salt, sugar. *I added couple of spoon mozarella cheese*
Bring the ground beef into brown and then mixed it into the sauce and bring it to simmer.
Meanwhile boiled the pasta
Prepare the pyrex
first layer is sauce and then pasta, pour the cheese on top and then pour the sauce and then pasta again and then cheese
Baked for about 30min
hubby likes eating it with garlic bread too hmm yummy

Kue SUS
Kue Sus! No one can resist eating this once you tried it :-)
I heard it's difficult making it but I've Made it!!Woohoo!!!
To be honest with this cake, I am not into the custard. The filling of this cake is using yellowish custard. I never like creamy stuff so I tried using chocolate custard and coffee. Well eating with Nutella is fine too for me tho! It's even much better.(*_*)
I got the recipe from my friend in Facebook :-)
BAHAN UNTUK MEMBUAT KULIT SUS:
250 cc air
150 gram margarine
150 gram tepung terigu
1 sendok the vanilla bubuk atau cair
4 buah telur
CARA MEMBUAT KULIT KUE SUS:
Tuang air, vanilla bubuk atau cair dan mentega/margarin kedalam panci. Masak, dan aduk sampai mentega meleleh dan air mendidih. (gunakan api sedang) Masukkan tepung terigu, dan aduk-aduk dengan sendok kayu sampai tercampur rata. Kecilkan api, masak dan terus aduk selama 1-2 menit atau sampai adonan kalis dan tidak lengket di panci. Diamkan 10 menit sampai dalam keadaan hangat atau dingin. Tambahkan telur, aduk-aduk dengan sendok kayu sampai adonan tercampur rata dan terlihat sedikit kental. Panaskan oven 200 derajat celcius. Oleskan Loyang dengan sedikit mentega. Gunakan spuit bintang yang berdiameter 1.5 cm. Masukkan spuit kedalam plastic segitiga. Masukkan adonan kedalam plastic segitiga. Bentuk melingkar menyerupai keong.
Panggang selama 30 menit sampai kue sus terlihat kering dan berwarna kecoklatan. (selama proses memanggang jangan membuka pintu oven) Setelah matang, angkat dan dinginkan.(kurang lebih 15 menit). Pindahkan ke dalam rak kawat agar tidak berkeringat atau lembab.
BAHAN UNTUK VLA:
800 ml susu cair 200 gram gula pasir 40 gram tepung custard 30 gram tepung maizena 30 gram tepung terigu 2 kuning telor, kocok lepas dengan garpu 1/2 sendok the garam vanilla bubuk atau vanilla cair secukupnya
CARA MEMBUAT VLA :
Campur dan aduk rata 200 ml susu cair dengan tepung custard, tepung maizena dan tepung terigu. Sisihkan. (1) Didihkan 600 ml susu dengan gula pasir, garam dan vanila dengan menggunakan api kecil. (2) Ambil 4 sendok makan susu yang sudah mendidih dan aduk rata dengan kocokan telur kuning.(3) Tuang (1) kedalam adonan (2), aduk rata. (3) Tuang kocokan kuning telur kedalam adonan (3), aduk sampai bergelembung dan kental. Angkat. Tuang rhum atau vanilla cair atau bubuk sesuai selera. Biarkan dingin dan sisihkan.Penyelesaian: Ambil satu kue sus. Potong setengah bagian tepi kue sus dengan gunting. Taruh vla didalam di bagian ditengah2 kue sus.

Bread Pudding
Got some old bread in the fridge and just got a chance making it into bread pudding, Yummy!
Ingredients
A loaf of raisin bread
2 tbsp butter, melted
1/2 cup raisin
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
Method
Diced the bread and
placed them in the baking pan
pour the melted butter on top of the diced bread
preheat the oven 350F
Beat the eggs, mixed with the rest of the ingredients
Pour it into the baking pan of diced bread
pushed the bread to the bottom evenly
Baked for about 20-30min
You can serve by pouring some milk over it
I just like being like simple, just eat while it's warm. Sooo Good!
Today I made one more using blueberry!
And Hawaiian rolls
It's too soft but taste yummy

Blueberry muffins
Got plenty of frozen Blueberries! What should i do with those??? Well muffins! been long time i dont make it. So here I am!
Browsing the recipe from Joy of baking!
Ingredients
Wet Ingredients
1 large egg, whisked
240ml Plain yoghurt
1 tbsp vanilla
1/3 cup of canola oil
Mixed all
Dried Ingredients
2 cups of all purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 -1 1/2 cup frozen blueberries (do not thaw)
Mixed carefully, just to make sure the blueberry wont make blue to the flour ;-)
Mixed wet ingredients to dried well.
Scooped the batter to the muffins pan that's been put the cupcake paper in it. Spray the cooking oil if you want.
Fill it full since it's not going to develop much, she said tho.

Nastar Kurma -Dates Cookies
Nastar is famous cookies when we celebrate Eid Mubarak. Most of Moslem will be busy few days before Eid comes preparing the cookies.
I am not really fond of this actually since the filling is using pineapple jam. But I have dates, so I'm experimenting Dates for the jam plus having plenty of butter from my friend who's cleaning her freezer makes me busy in the kitchen again.
Ingredients A
250gr flour
25gr corn starch
1tbsp of milk powder
Shifted
Ingredients B
50gr powder sugar
3egg yolks
175gr butter
Mixed till soft
Ingredients C
5-10 Dates *half pineapple if you wanna use it*
1 cup of water
Mixed in blender to make it faster
cook in low heat, add sugar *depends on how much sweet you wan*
add cinnamon
mixed till it's dry
shaped into tiny round
Mixed ingredients A & B till you can shape it
Pinch a small dough
flattened it, put the filling in it n closed it
make round shape
put in the cookie pan, do it to the rest of the dough
arrange it on the pan, give space
Brush with whisked egg yolk on top and garnish with cloves *but don't eat it LOL*
Baked in 350F for 15min or till golden brown

Roti Sobek Gandum -Whole Wheat Sweet Bread Rolls
I have Whole Wheat flour that's been sitting in my cabinet. Wonder what to make with it. Got the motivation after watching America's Test Kitchen. Tho I didn't follow all directions :P
I used my friend's recipe instead. The basic recipe of Roti Manis.
Ingredients
200gr Whole wheat flour *I used king arthur's*
50gr all purpose flour
1tsp salt
2tsp yeast
2egg yolks
50gr sugar
Mixed well
add
100ml milk
25gr margarine
Knead the dough well
Knead the dough well
I might not really good in kneading it or the whole wheat flour needs different treatment.

After waiting for about an hour, well I just crossed my fingers to bake it.
I pinched some dough, filled it with nutella, cheese what ever you like. Wrapped it well, make round shape till the rest of the dough.
Prepared the pan that has been coated with cooking spray pam or margarine.
Arranged the dough not too close to each other, enough space to develop so they will stick to one another once it's cooked.
Brush with eggs. Add cheese or sprinkled chocolate for topping. Baked for about 30-40min till golden brown.

web. No pics but I trust her cook! :-) So yup No doubt! Yummy!
Ingredients
180 gr all purpose flour
1/2tbsp yeast
1/2tsp salt
250ml milk
30gr margarine, melted
50gr sugar
2eggs, whisked
How to
Mixed dry ingredients
Pour milk and mixed it well
leave it for about 15-30min
Add melted margarine and eggs,
Mixed the batter well
Heat the Poffertjes pan
I use cooking oil spray
Pour the batter into the pan n watch this video how to turn it n make it round

Mocha Almond Cake
I suddenly remember Mayestik Bakery store in Indonesia, i love some cakes there. My fav one is Bolu Kacang. The texture is so soft almost like sponge. I could eat one pan by my self LoL. Nuts and Mocha flavor blend in the cake hmm Gosh i miss my country so much! :D

80gr all purpose flour
75gr palm sugar
4 egg yolks
4 egg whites
1/4tsp cream of tartar
1tsp of baking powder
50gr nuts *i used almond ready to eat* grind
35gr margarine, melted
25ml milk * i used powder n mixed with water*
2 tbsp mocha flavor
How to make
Mix egg whites with cream of tartar in high speed till half develop
Add palm sugar, mix till fully develop
Add egg yolks
add shifting flour mix them well, baking powder. Mix them well
Pour melted margarine,milk, mocha flavor.
Prepare the pan that's already greasy *used cooking spray or margarine*
Pour it to the pan and bake in the oven for about 30min 350F

Chocolate Macaroons
Got cinnamon almond from my friend but i couldn't eat it since my teeth can't chew hard food so i made into macaroons! Nice huh :D Grind the almonds and then mixed with confection sugar and chocolate powder.
I know i wouldn't like this sweet stuff but since the shape is cute to be in my cam perhaps LOL so here i am..
Thank God i made it successfully coz some people said it's hard to make it. Got curious. Hmm.
Ordering the sheet with deco tips for about a week * got it from ebay*

Blueberry Banana Muffins
Blueberry Banana Muffins
I am not really into muffins actually but since i have over ripped banana and a cup of blueberry from my friend so i try making them into delight 
I like light soft as sponge in baking cake and i wonder if i could make it as well in muffins. So this is my trial actually and thank God it worked! Yummy!
Ingredients A
2 over ripped bananas, peeled, mashed
1 cup of blueberry
1 egg, beaten
100 ml canola oil
3/4 cup sugar
Mixed them all in a bowl
Ingredients B
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp of baking soda and baking powder
1 tsp of salt *oops i actually forgot putting it but the taste is still yummy*
Mixed A & B
Prepare the muffin pan with baking cups in it. Pour the dough into the pan. Bake for about 30minute till golden brown
