Talam Ubi "Steamed Sweet Potatoes"
If you have sweet potatoes n getting bored eating just like that why don't you try this! You won't regret just giving little bit extra work for it but the result is sooooo Yummy!
Well lucky me having friend who often goes back home town *Indonesia* so that i can ask for a favor buying this flower shaped cookies mold for my snack :-) *if you don't have, you still can make this in pyrex tho n just cut it if you wanna eat it :-)
Here i actually didn't plan making this. I just wanna bake the sweet potato, just one for breakfast. But after i baked it, the taste was out of my imagination. So i mashed it n thinking of traditional snack. TALAM UBI
Ingredients A
1 mashed sweet potatoes
4-5 tsp tapioca flour
4 tbsp of sugar
3 tsp of Mochiko sweet rice flour, or rice flour starch
250 ml coconut milk
Ingredients B
1 cup of water
3 tsp coconut powder
3 tsp of tapioca flour
1 tsp of salt
3 tsp of Mochiko sweet rice flour, or rice flour starch
How to make
Prepare the steamer. Cover the lid with towel so the water wont drop. Mix ingredients A till they dissolved. Make sure you put little oil *cooking spray oil* in the mold, so it will be easier to remove once its done. Pour half of the dough in the mold. Half of it will be filled with ingredients B. Steamed for about 20min.
Prepare small pot, Mix all ingredients B. Keep stirring in low heat till its thicker. Be ready to open the steamer. Pour to fill half of the molds. Steamed for about 10min.
Wait till they're cool. Take spoon to help removing the cookies from the cake molds. Bon Appetite!
