Roti Goreng Abon

Alhamdulillah, making bread is a piece of cake now! I can say it out loud. (*_*)
Indeed practice makes perfect.

I always love bread. Back in my countries, there are plenty of bakeries with lots of varieties of sweet bread with lots of yummy fillings.
This time I made it without eggs! Really? I doubted it also but here it is!
Got the recipe from one of the members in DAPUR AISYAH that I follow in facebook.

Ingredients
250 gr all purpose flour
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
63 gr margarine
150 ml warm water
1 tbsp yeast
Panko flour

Filling
I used shredded beef
Maybe next time I can make chicken ragout
Methods
Pour the yeast into warm water, put aside.
In another bowl, mixed flour, margarine, sugar and salt
Pour the yeast liquid.
Knead it till no dough sticks in the bowl
*i lifted it, not too high and smashed it back to the bowl, hard enough. Do that several times till no dough that sticks around the bowl. The bowl is really clean even to the edge.
It's good exercise when i was angry to somebody or myself lol*

Divided the dough into several pieces, maybe each 40gr, if you wanna measure it.
I made 11 pieces for this recipe.

Prepare a cookie pan that's been greased with spam cooking oil lil bit.
Take big pinch of the dough, flattened the dough on the pan and fill it
just one tbsp of filling
 closed it tight.
Do it to till the rest of the dough, make sure you have space for them to develop.
Let them rest for about 1hour.

After one hour
Prepare another cookie pan that's been brushed with water.
Take one dough carefully by pinching the bottom part coz it will be sticky but still can be lifted.
Rolled it on a damp cookie pan till you feel all surface is wet.

Rolled it in a Panko flour evenly,
do it till all dough finish.

Prepare the pot with enough cooking oil
for deep frying it.
Fried till golden brown.

Served it with sriracha sauce because this is not sweet bread. I like it spicy with the shredded beef inside. I didnt make spicy shredded beef, next time I will. >_*
