Bakwan Jagung -Tempura Corn-

It could be snack, side dish or appetizer perhaps. It's yummy! I might make this everyday if fried stuff is good. >_<
I have fav kind of "warteg" or small food vendor near by my dorm back in Indonesia. She cooks good food, one of them is Bakwan Jagung.

Everyday that place is very crowded at lunch time especially. That's why since it's near, I only came around 10-11am and if I was lucky enough, after 2pm I still could get some good food. It's affordable place to eat with good yummy food who can say no. *_*

Ingredients

1 can sweet corn
half carrot, grated
green onion, chopped

Seasoning

1tsp salt
1tsp white pepper
1tsp coriander
1tsp chicken bouilon powder *optional*

3tbsp flour
1 egg
100ml water

Enough Cooking oil for deep frying

How to

Prepare a bowl
Sweet corn mashed half if you want whole is fine
grated carrot
green onion
mixed together
add seasoning
flour
mixed and added lil water and Mixed again
It's like thick batter

Prepare a pan with cooking oil
medium heat
take one spoon and in the pan flattened it
it will float and flip so both sides cooked
fried till golden brown

Served with sri racha or extra hot sauce
or just like me fresh green chili.

P.S : the more you make the more seasoning you should add. I only make 1 can of sweet corn, if you want a little bit crispier, add rice flour in the batter
