Sweet Black Rice Chiffon Cake-Chiffon Ketan Hitam

Succeeded with my orange chiffon makes me wanna make more varieties. Here we go, another chiffon i love if i go to Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. *I don't know where else i could buy for this cake actually LOL* The taste is almost the same i guess, perhaps i should ground the black rice little bit longer so the result is really fine smooth like flour. Not bad tho, Well i used coffee grinder small one, so it took long time since the capacity isn't much. I couldn't find the black rice flour here, poor me :-)
Black Rice after n before :-) n coffee grinder to make it into flour

Well I browse some links for the recipe, some have different ingredients and since i have already made one chiffon so i still focus to that basic recipe in joy baking. Just replace the flour with Black Rice flour.

Ingredients A
200 gr Black Rice Flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
100 ml coconut milk
100 ml canola oil/vegetable oil
7 egg yolks
Mix them all in a bowl, put aside

Ingredients B
7 eggs whites (10 if you wanna make even lighter sponge)
180 gr sugar ( If you like sweet, make it 200 gr )
1/4 tsp of tartar or salt if you don't have
Mix them as the joy of baking video shown okay! :-)
